Sharon Boyd, MA, RDH
Founder, Dental Strategic Communications Expert
After 10 years of practice as a Registered Dental Hygienist in Texas, Sharon began dabbling in peer review projects. Shortly thereafter, DentaSpeak was born. In addition to degrees in dental hygiene and business, Sharon also completed a Master of Arts in Strategic Communication and Innovation from Texas Tech University. While in graduate school, she spent the majority of her time researching healthcare patient communications strategies and neuromarketing techniques in relation to web copy and online messaging platforms.
During her time at DentaSpeak, Sharon incorporated her clinical knowledge and communication abilities into copywriting services for DentaSpeak clients worldwide. Although she has since retired her RDH license, she will tell you that she learns far more from working with world-renowned dental specialists and clinical researchers than she ever did in a classroom or CE course.
Outside of work, Sharon is the proud mother of four, a passionate "band mom," IRONMAN, and volunteers at her family's church.
